Bockbieranstich 2013 and other questions

Ach so! I thought it was a comunity/sports  halle or something. Thanks. Have you been there? I have been to bamberg twice, and I would have liked to go at a bockbieranstich, but I am travelling with some other norwegian guys  and they are visiting Bamberg for their first time, so I am not sure if a trip to Wagner is worth it, since there are plenty of breweries to explore  in Bamberg for first timers.

We are 9 middle aged men going there thursday 14. November until sunday 17.November before we are heading back to Frankfurt Flughafen late in the evening. We are stayng at Fassla.

This is our plan.

Thursday:

Lunch at Fassla.

In the evening dinner at Drei Kronen. I heard rumours that this brewery are going to shut down. My questions is then. I have been here before and it was a lovely evening, but when they plan to shut it down do they have the same quality when it comes  to beers (both quality and variety), food and ambiance?

If not: we will go at Spezial.

Friday:

Exploring bamberg in the daytime. Maybe a lunch at Greifenklau or Schenkerla. Maybe visiting some of the other breweries.

In the evening. Bockbieranstich at Wagner.

Saturday:

If ok weather we will walk from Tifernhellern (sic!)- Melkendorf- Geisfeld- Rossdorf am Forst. Taxi from here to Bamberg in the evening. 14 km, but no problem.

Sunday:

Long breakfast, walking around in the city, drinking water:)

Any comments will be apreciated.
