| One good thing about the Oktoberfest is, Bayerischer Rundfunk (Bavariatn public TV) airs some decent shows about beer. Some historical, some not, not all about the nasty, disgusting Oktoberfest. One is 30 minutes long, called "Hopfen, Malz, Gott Erhalt's", from 1961. I've finally got round to recording it and have started working on subtitles. Here's a first snippet, about the first two words in the titel. Not sure when I'll get round to doing more; it's slow-going work, roughly 10-15 minutes per minute of dialogue, per language, just to transcribe. Then video processing, etc., on top. (Of course, if there's no interest in seeing more of it, I'll save myself the bother!) |
