Just to report that Stephan Michel has contacted me direct with a very friendly email and I have responded.

Though I would not wish to assume any right to tell him how to run his business, I hope that my comments will be useful both for him and for the rest of us customers.

As per my email somewhere below, it is up to us as paying customers to make our views known to any pub, supermarket, railway company, etc., etc., when we feel that we are not getting the service that we pay for. I do not believe in excuses like, 'Well, it's the tradition' or 'It's always been done like that' or 'It's difficult because there are a lot of customers'.

I look forward to meeting Stephan sometime in the future and enjoying a friendly seidla of U together!
