OT: Sad news |

| I hope friends will excuse this slight divergence, which will be of direct immediate interest to only a couple of people. I have often talked here about the great accommodation we enjoy in our fewo in Eschawo and of its genial and generous owner, Charly Kellermann. Now, tragically, Charly is no more, as he died last Friday in a motorcycle accident, in which his long-time partner Christal was criticaly injured. At present, Christal is in an induced coma in a hospital in Bayreuth. Details of the accident are a bit sketchy but it appears that an oncoming car swerved into his path for reasons unknown giving Charly no chance. He died instantly. Sorry for burdening you all with this sad news but a number of you may have been contemplating staying at Fewo Kellermann in the future. I fear the fewo will probably close. |
