Drunk Bicycling - What happens to tourists from outside Germany?

Yes, I think I know that bit of downhill path after Mark described it, on the way into Geisfeld...or at least others like it. I've fallen in the woods here probably 3 times, but luckily not in such a way as to hit my head, nor even get hurt in any real way. And only once after having drunk. (I did hit my head from falling once in Oregon, though since I was wearing a helmet, I came away with only a bit of a headache. And on that occasion, I was 100% sober.) I once fell off my bike after the Annafest...whilst attempting to MOUNT it. I walked it down the hill from there on that occasion. Funny how the vast bulk of Germans eschew bike helmets, but they would never consider driving a car without using a seat belt. Actually, it's not funny. Yes, you probably will never injure your head in a bike accident in Franconia. You will probably also never get injured in a car accident, so why bother with the seat belt? I think it's all about the fashion!
