First Visit Yesterday

On our midday visit we were the only folks present. As silly Americans we found the act of carrying a full glass of beer across the street to the picnic tables a novel adventure. They serve the beer in glass mugs much like you find throughout Czech Republic. The hausbier was a juicy and hoppy but suffered from horrible levels of diacetyl, which is a shame because it seems like it had the making of another gem - juicy, full-bodied, minerally, hoppy but balanced, just enough touch of Munich malt... Alas, lack of cleanliness made this one hard to drink.
