| It's actually called 'Blockhuette' and the beer is from Friedenfels (local town), including a so-called zoigl. Hey Mark, but what about the hike to get back! It's approximately half-way between Eschawo and Falkenburg - never done this walk in full, maybe try it in the few weeks, maybe by bike. Think you did this, Nick? There's also another similar hut in the forest - Waldfriedhuette - about 4km from Eschawo on the way to Blockhuette. Did you notice it Mark? It's difficult to see being high up on a hill above the river and hidden by trees. It was closed yesterday and rarely seems to be open. We'll try it on a weekend day to see what it serves. |
