Last brewery of Ansbach demolished

Last week until the beginning of this week the last brewery of Ansbach, Hürner-Bräu, was demolished to make room for a new housing area. At the end of last year Ansbacher Hofbräu was torn down already, except for the listed Sudhaus, which will accomodate a nice EDEKA market in the near future. In the 1970s Ansbach still had six active breweries (Brauhaus Eyb, Hürner Bräu, Hofbräu, Maisel Bräu, Schoberbräu, Kronenbräu). That's what happens in Mittelfranken.
