okay, an introduction!

That was using a site that was an early mashup of Google Maps -- I am getting old, I can't remember the name. They got really popular, tried to monetize it, failed and then disappeared. Let me see if I can throw something together -- won't be right a way because I'm busy with "real work" in advance of my May trip.
