I certainly don't doubt that the new brewpub brews some great beer, and next time we're back in PDX, I'll be hard pressed to maintain my "principles" (such as they are) and boycott the place. The original brewpub in Bend was always a great time for us. I also boycott the new Bridgeport yuppie brew/bakery/complex, since they destroyed such a great, classic place as the old rope factory -cum- brewpub was. We moved away from greater Portlandia in 2004 and returned for a visit in 2006, and that happened during our absence. When I took the tram to visit Bridgeport on that visit, I literally shed a tear when the tram rounded a corner and the new place came into view. Really depressing, it was.
