| St. Georgenbräu is quite forgettable, though the view from there to Bamberg is nice! All the Keller(s) in one day is a challenge, but doable if you don't drink a Maß at each stop. It's shorter from Eggolsheim Bahnhof to the Kreuzberg than from Buttenheim Bahnhof. So if you're starting there, get off at Eggolsheim. Also, neither Buttenheimer Keller was listed at that one website where people assign ratings to beers; I've rectified this. Though...the Georgenbräukeller location doesn't show up exactly right on their map. It's actually located across the highway from the Löwenbräukeller, on "Straße zum Georgenbräukeller", though that beer rating webbie map places it on Kellerstraße for some wack reason. Meh. Not worth seeking out anyway: over-gassed, sweetish, brown Industriebier. |
