| >I was intrigued by Gerhard's comment that some beer outlets used bulk storage tanks. I remember well this practice in the UK from working in a pub in Leeds in the mid-1970s. Awful pasteurised beer pumped up from the cellar using CO2. < Pilsner Urquell use a similar system in their high-volume "tankovna" pubs in the Czech Republic. Some beer geeks disagree, but I've always found the beer to be excellent in these places. |
