OT: Latest home brew

In the US the limit is 100 gallons per person or 200 gallons per household if more than one adult in the household. (This can be set lower by the states). This not being Germany, the authorities don't really care so long as you are not selling your beer or violating it on an industrial scale. Anyway, back in the day, when I owned a homebrew shop, the question of the limit came up and this one customer (who today you would call a "Tea Party" type -- apologies to the non-US readers) said something like "it doesn't matter, how are they going to find out how much you brew." With a straight face I said "Well, you know, that I report all malt sales to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms..." His face went pale and he got an "Oh My God" look on his face. It took me quite a while to re-assure him that I was only joking.
