Horse meat dishes in Bamberg?

When I travel to Switzerland for business (Buchs SG) on the ground floor of the hotel were I stay is a horse butcher. The first few times I stayed there it didn't really register - - I saw the words but didn't put them together until I saw Pferdschnitzel on the menu :) I don't know why horse is different, but I have no desire to try it. I have no problem with Bambi, Thumper, Bossie (the cow) or Arnold (the pig) but dining on My Friend Flika seams a meal to far :)
