OT English grammar

Nick, you have been away from the US too long. What Don is alluding to is the slang usage which I think originated in the phrase "get down wit(h) yo(ur) bad self". Not sure where it came from, though. Popular music? a movie? Now "your bad self" is sometimes used for humorous effect.
