I am back home now

I flew home from Brussels yesterday. I got to Brussels airport with not much time to spare, and was told my suitcase was overweight. D'oh! The fee for overweight is $150. But the fee for a 2nd bag is $100. So, I quickly transferred half the beer bottles into my carry-on bag, and then checked it (for $100). Then I was concerned the entire flight that the bottles would break, but luckily they all survived. So, an unexpected $100 (€77) expense that I was trying to avoid, but at least no broken bottles. My flight departed BRU at 11:00 AM, and after a 2 hour stop in PHL, and a short flight to BOS, and then a train ride, I was home by ~6:00 PM (0:00 Brussels time). 19 nights and A LOT of beers. Wow, it was a great trip! Sorry I stopped posting updates partway through the trip, but when my internet access decreased, I found it harder to do the updates, but I still might post a few belated reports. Thanks to everyone who helped make the trip great: esp. Gerhard and Jürgen for driving on the Bier Tours, Gerhard for his hospitality at Café Abseits, Nick B. for meeting up a few times, and Fred Waltman for letting me join the Sticke Warriors for many days! Thanks and Cheers to all those named and unnamed! Jimbo
