Well at least your missing bus service was half-way publicised. Jim's just never showed up, without any notice or signage. In the other direction, too. Maybe even on two different trips, IIRC. OTOH, bus service round the Yorkshire and Derbyshire countryside a couple of months (!) ago was quite reliable, only slowed by the need for every single passenger to buy a ticket from the driver.
