Good question about planning permission. Maybe because it is a real half-timbered construction, this means it fits in with a traditional setting? If there is even a requirement for such a thing with planning permission. I'll try to remember to ask about this next time. During the construction, they hung an explanation up on the surrounding fence explaining that contrary to rumours going round, they were not building a hotel.
