I’ve just spent a very enjoyable evening getting "very happy" at the German beer festival in West London at The Duchess of Cambridge, in Stamford Brook. (Near Hammersmith). http://www.theduchessofcambridgepub.com/ I was pleased to see that 90% of the beer was Bavarian, or which a good 50% was Franconian of which were available. Schlenkerla Weizen and Marzen. Faessla Zwergla Faust (Miltenberg) Festbier and Krausen. Kraus Hirschen Trunk Hauff Brau (Lichtenau) Himmenthaler Pils.(Buble Hell and Oester Festbier) Mahrs U, Hell, and Pils. Eder & Heylands Schlappeseppel Pils. Schwanenbrau (Burgebrach) Lagerbier. Weißenohe Altfrankisch Oktoberfest Marzen. Also of mention, 2 beers from Allaüer, .(Büble Hell and Oester Festbier), Ayinger Celebrator, Augustiner Helles on draught (draft), Erdinger Pikantus, Lowenbrau Triumphator (3 beers from Zwiesel (Dampfbier, Export and Pfeffer Hell). Going home to sleep it off now! Mat W
