But the walk back might be a bit more challenging! This is a fantasy type purchase but the cost of property in the area is very low, specially when compared with the UK or, formerly, Ireland. However, things have got so bad here now that it is almost impossible to even give away property, unless it is in Dublin and, even there, prices are way down on pre-2008 values. You can buy complete rows of houses for a couple of hundred thousand euro in some places.
