If I reckon correctly, I use 13 - 14 KG of hops (leaf "Naturhopfen", of course, not industrialised pellets!) per 2500 L when I brew, assuming we're talking about starting boil volumes. And that's at 8-9 %Stammwürze/°Plato/1.032-36 OG, not 12/1.048 or something. Ask him if he could brew me such a batch. (The vast bulk of that is at 15 minutes, 5 minutes, and 0 minutes (flame-out) or when the wort has reached 80°C. Very little at the start -- 60 minutes.)
