In June/July Maisel will offer new craft beers: http://www.maiselandfriends.com/ (Maisel was not an exhibitor). The festival beer of the Hofbräu was more a fun project of the brewmaster for this beer festival. They will not offer this beer in the Hofbräuhaus. It was a good balanced pale Lager with much hops, but also a great sweetness/caramel. A beer outside of each beerstyle. Too sweet for me, but many visitors have liked it. Many visitors were impressed by the great beer range of Camba Bavaria http://www.cambabavaria.de/ Background Camba Bavaria belongs to Braukon (brewing technology for pub and industrial breweries). I have visited this beer festival only on saturday (the day with the most visitors). Next year/festival I will come for 2 days. There were too many beers to taste. And there were to many beer geeks to talk.
