The following suggests that you CAN fool a lot of the people a lot of the time! Interesting about the organic in view of yesterday's exchange here. Diageo Interim Results saw operating profit before exceptionals rise to £1.87bn on sales ahead 8% at £5.76bn. Organic sales growth was 7% as against 4% in the same period a year ago and the dividend is raised 7% to 16.6p a share. It added that it was cautious as to the consumer and economic trends it was facing in 2012 but noted that the H1 Results had positioned it well.
