| Nee, I haven't got an email from you. Not sure what's up with that. Did you use the nickb@A_CERTAIN_CONTINENT addy? Don's right, if you stay in the center it's a good hike to the station, but the trams run regularly. It is a lovely, lovely city, though we found ourselves wondering if maybe we shouldn't have just stayed in Brugge once again whilst there for a couple of day trips. Gent is a college town, so there's a lively young vibe going on in addition to the tourism. Our hotel was fantastic, but also 130€ per night. Was a splurge for herself, since she had been working hard at a new job and hadn't been anywhere on hols since August. [ http://www.dict.cc/?s=splurge ] |
