Pork Pies!

In the end, I guess I'm just a poor colonist (or colonial?) and just don't seem to *get* footie. Have pity on me. But I used to watch Yank football when I was young. At home, mostly, not at a pub. Well there weren't any pubs in the British sense there, anyway. Mild or bitter would've been so, so much better than the crap we did drink back then though: Pabst, Schlitz, Schmidt...all regional producers of bland, adjunct-laden lager. I think Manchester would be too large for me in the end anyway. A nice market town in Greater Mancs might be nice though. Or in Wales--another language to "learn"!
