Pre-Christmas visit to Bamberg |

| Just back from business trip to Denmark and Norway - little money left in bank accout, how do they live in those countries? Had the Carlsberg Julebier (?) in Cph, quite nice but avbout €5 a small bottle and a beautiful bottle fermented porter in Voss, Norway. Beautiful but also the most expensive bottle of beer that I've ever bought at NKr79 (€9) a 450 ml bottle! To the point! Now finished my itinerary for visit to Bamberg - we arrive pm 10/12/09 and leave for a night's visit to Leipheim (Hirschbrau) on 16/12/09. This time we are staying away from the Altstadt, near Abseits, so should get a slightly different perspective on things. If anyone's around and fancies meeting for a beer, please let me know. Also, is there likely to be any bock left in town? |
