The € had been up over $1.50 a couple of weeks ago, so, it could be "worse". OTOH, it's a good time for those who earn €s to ratchet up their contributions to US-based retirement plans, not that I'd know anything about this...;) Yes, ICE travel with the Sparangebote(s) are always best booked as early as possible.
