The Vogtlandbahn train have no curtains. But my most eh... interesting memory dates back to 2002 when riding in one of the tilting diesel sets from Nuremberg to Bayreuth. Seeing the first curve coming up sometime after Hersbruck I thought: aren't we going a bit too fast? I then experienced how the tilting works. You should not try this after having a bit too much to drink, and esp. not riding backwards!
