| Mike - the exterior is very definitely untouched! One major innovation is that they have opened up the cellar and you can normally get a table down there if the ground floor room looks intimidatingly full. If you get a chance, sneak a look in the kitchen and check out the size of the pans that they cook the meat in! As Don says, it's only a short walk from the U-Bahn station. But I would recommend that you walk from the Hauptbahnhof across the river on the pedestrian part of the railway bridge - great views and you get a real feel for the size and power of the Rhine. |
