Invite comment to my hike plans

Soon time for my annual dose of Franconian air - and what was that other thing? I'll arrive Wed night Oct 14 and leave Mon morning Oct 19 - no prize for guessing where I'm heading. I need to visit Trabelsdorf, and since Beck only open Fri-Sun and buses don't run on weekends, I decided that if the weather is nice on Fri Oct 16 I'll take a leisurely stroll starting at Sonne in Bischberg, via the Michelswald forest to Weipelsdorf and Tütschengereuth, and if I feel strong enough, down to Weiher (easy enough) and up again (tough) to Trabelsdorf. I estimate 3 hours of walking with breaks for beer and other food should get me to Beck by 1600. Bus back to Bamberg at 1820. If anyone feels like joining me, you are very welcome. I'd appreciate any comments about the Gasthöfe in Weipelsdorf (Bräutigam) and Tütschengereuth (Brehm and Zellmann). I realise I will miss the Bockbieranstich at Kundmüller in Weiher on Oct 17. My second excursion plan is to do the Strullendorf Stroll, on Sat or Sun - anyone interested in joining? Last Saturday I had kegged Schlenkerla Urbock 2009 at the Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival! Good of course but I look forward to having it from the wood soon. For lunch today a Merkendorfer Wagner Märzen at Akkurat. So it's not that I am starved for Franconian beer here, but it's still nice to get to the real place. Gunnar
