Mallersdorf?

Why is Mallersdorf considered so special? Is it only because they have a "Sister" brewer? I found their beer to be perfectly fine, but nothing outstanding. I actually much preferred Stöttner's beers in nearby Pfaffenberg (2.4km). Hitting Mallersdorf, followed by Stöttner, makes for a much more rewarding experience.
