Kellers open in Sept?

The Forchheimer Keller(s) are odd. Yesterday, a fine Sunday afternoon in August, the Hebendanz Keller didn't open until 4 PM. And the Rappen Keller (Löwenbräu) never opened. But *some* do open all year on the weekends. You'll just have to find out for yourself. The Kreuzberg Keller(s) should all be open in nice weather through September, as well as the Buttenheimer ones. The Sauer Keller in Roßdorf might end their season early, as they seem to start late, I don't know. The Geisfelder Griess Keller should be open as long as the weather's nice. October is the *traditional* end of the season, but I've been to Roppelt's in mid-late October, for example. (And I see they've got their webcam working again: http://www.brauerei-roppelt.de/fileadmin/webcam/webcam/roppelt_cam.jpg ) Another I've discovered courtesy of the new "Frankens Schönste Bierkeller" guide is the Almrauschhütte, a few hundred metres off the way from Strullendorf to Roßdorf, pouring Ott beers under CO2. http://www.bamberg-guide.de/bamberg/bierundbierkultur/location.php?loc=271 .
