Trains, buses, and Annafest

Not Deutsches Haus? Well, I was going by the .pdf of the 8235 schedule, which clearly indicates Deutsches Haus. My opinion of German mass transit has seriously gone down this trip. Last night I stayed at Annafest until midnight (beer was poured until midnight, but then immediately everything shut down, and Kupfer Keller even turned off the lights within a few minutes). I caught the bus back to Forchheim Bahnhof and was on the platform by 00:30, waiting for the 00:53 train. The time came and went, and there was some announcment which causes the Germans on the platform to groan. According to the regular schedule, there was another train at 1:49. Well, a few more announcements later, and finally a train arrived at 2:30. Ugh, did not get to Bamberg until 3 am. It was a fantastic day at Annafest, though, with my favorite beers being Krug and Weisenhohe. Hoffmann Keller had an amazing deal of €9,90 for a Haxe & a Maß of Krugbräu. Mmm. I think I will avoid trains today. :-)
