| Be prepared to soil your trousers: I paid $335 for a RT ticket from PDX to FRA in April 2004. It was the start of the new Lufthansa direct flight from Portland to Frankfurt. It's been five years, and I *still* can't believe how good that deal was. Indeed I am considering the Afest this year. Perhaps nicht "alla Doch" though. Coincidentally, I had my first bottled Afest beer last night: Hebendanz. 'twas very nice, though fairly mild. It didn't seem very strong, nor was it as hoppy or malty as in previous years, but still nice. I think the Heb' 2007 was the best Annafestbier I've ever had. I *might* meet up with AndyH & Co. today, but tomorrow's more likely. |
