Pub Crawling Group Trip to Franconia- Help Please

I'd be glad to help with calling them. My email address begins with "erlangernick" and ends with "yahoo dot de". Reservations or at least advanced warning would definitely be good for a group of this size! IME Krug has the best food of the four, but I've not eaten at either Reichhold (the place appears as if the food would be v. good though!) or Heckel. Heckel might be too small for the group. And the beer might not be the world's most exciting. Seeing as how you've got a bus, why not venture a bit farther afield from Aufseß? Assuming the costs of driving a few dozen extra kilometers aren't prohibitive. I've been to Kathi Bräu a couple of times, and though I don't personally like the beer much, the place itself and the experience is pretty cool. The group could also walk there from Aufseß though. Oberleinleiter's Br. Ott is very nice, as are Oberailsfeld's Held Braü and Huppendorf's Br. Grasser. The former two are also in very lovely limestone (?) valley settings typical of the "fränkischen Schweiz". FWIW, the brewery name is Rothenbach in the village of Aufseß, but they call their beers "Aufseßer Pils, Aufseßer Dunkel...just for clarity's sake.
