| It depends on how old your numbers are, I think. The original German mobile I had was also one shorter. Since we have turned into the German Telephone Number discussion board ( :) ) I'll add another bit: even numbers within a city are not all the same length. Again, it is how long you've had that number. At some point they just started adding digits. |
