From the website of De Molen in Bodegraven: The Festival On October 30th, 2009 the very first Borefts Beer Festival will take place. The purpose of this festival is to promote good craft beers and while doing this we hope to have a lot of fun. Date Oktober 30th, 2009 Time 12:00h - 22:00h Location Brouwerij de Molen Overtocht 43, Bodegraven The entrance to the festival is free. But if you want to try some beer you will have to purchase a festival glass. We offer this glass together with 5 coins for just € 10.00. Extra coins can be purchased of course. These cost € 1,50 each. Preparations for this festival are still in progress. So visit these pages regularly as we constantly will update the information. Like what brewers will attend and what beers will be available during the festival. One thing's for sure: we aim for the best brewers and beers in Europe. We are still busy with a few European college brewers that want to join us at the festival. As soon as we have any confirmations we will update this page. We expect some five brewers next to De Molen at the festival. The following specialities will be available at the festival. The Mikkeller and Struise brewers want to be present personally but aren't sure yet. The other breweries have confirmed their presence. Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands: Eisbock Tsarina Esra Reserva Imperial Kopi Lowak Coffee Stout Picobrouwerij Alvinne, Heule, Belgium Alvinne Smoked Bock Bierbrouwerij Grand-Café Emelisse, Netherlands Emelisse Bock Mikkeller, Copenhagen, Denmark Weizenbock (USA hops) De Struise Brouwers, Woesten, Belgium Doppelbock Next to these special Festival beers there will be other beers available as well. To be able to plan the whole festival we are very much interested in the number of attendees. We already have a number of registrations but please send an e-mail to festival@brouwerijdemolen.nl
