| The last few years they have given a "Beer Medal" award to somebody at the Tag des Bieres. Last time I was there (2-3 years ago) it went to Johannes Schulters, the director of the Brewery Museum. Well, yesterday it went to Frank Wetzel (along with Ursula Blenk & Robert Pawelczak) for their Franconian Beer Quartet card decks. I don't think we have to bow and call him "Sir" when we next meet Frank but we'll probably have to buy him a beer :) |
