But the new version does list some breweries! Also excellent are the Appelt 1:35,000 Wanderkarten for the Innere Fränkische Schweiz and Hersbrucker Schweiz. These also have symbols for Gasthof/Gaststätte ("G") and even Bierkeller ("K"), sometimes also with names of breweries, or just "Brauerei". http://popp-design-druck.de/appelt/wanderkarten.htm is the collection. Hey, a new one's coming for Erlangen-Forchheim! Here's a sample from their website--should be easy enough to figure out where this is: http://popp-design-druck.de/appelt/wander-radwegekarten/freizeitk91_ellertal_ausschn.jpg Also very good are the Fritsch series of 1:50,000 Wanderkarten, specifically the one for Bamberg-Forchheim, which was revised last fall: http://www.thalia.de/shop/tha_homestartseite/suche/?sswg=ANY&sq=wanderkarten+fritsch+bamberg&submit.x=0&submit.y=0 (I need to get a new copy myself.) You can find these, the Appelt, and also the Kompass maps at Thalia book shops as well as at the Bahnhof shops in Bamberg, Forchheim, Erlangen, and Nürnberg. AFAIK there's no markup for the Bahnhof shops.
