I'm in western Montana. But Portland, Oregon is one of my favorite cities. Good German restaurants and German stores to buy groceries. info@travelportland.com Ask them about Rheinlander Restaurant on Sandy Blvd. Ask them about Gustav's which is also at the Portland airport (PDX) Ask them about all the microbreweries in Portland Ask them about Edelweiss Market (southeast section).
