Brauerei Ankerbräu, 96523 Steinach

Yes, I've been there a couple of times (although that is already some time ago). It was one of the breweries that in the DDR time remained privately owned, and they were also in that time one of the first to keep to the Reinheitsgebot. They also provide accomodation (good and affordable).
