| This is one of the favorite beers of the Shelton Brothers, and they import it to the US (actually, my one and only trip to visit the Mönschsambacher brewery was by tagging along with Will Shelton and others). It is a very nice lager. Do I think it is the epitome of Franconian lagers, probably not, but it is certainly very good. Maybe I need to drink more of it to really decide. :-) Not sure which I would pick as the "top". Maybe Spezial U? I also really like Mahrs U when it is in prime condition. |
