| Good call. A better call than the one I made for Martin & Marie when they were in Herrnsdorf; I directed them first to the top of the hill heading north toward Frensdorf, instead of due west along Dorfstraße. Otherwise, their walk would've taken only about 20 minutes (!), I suppose. When I use my nifty "Bayern 3D Kartenwerk v 1.5" to plot the route, I get 3.7 km or 2.3 miles, which would take me about 45 minutes, I think. Martin, are you sure it took you only 25 minutes? That would work out to over 10 mph! I'm absolutely convinced that with the 11.10 bus, H-dorf and Sambach are very easily doable. All the way to Schlüsselfeld is as well, but yes, one would have to be on their toes...would be a very rewarding day though. |
