Do you dare?

Well, then, there you go. Nothing that can't be taken care of with a dozen or so glasses of Sticke (or Stike, as they like to spell it at Schlüssel). If I could've gotten twice as much time off, I'd probably even have tried for Latzenbier at Schumacher. Anyway, IIRC, we did a little countryside touring last time we all met up in Bamberg; I think this time we'd be better equipped with beer guidebooks and mobile phones, so we'd know who has a Ruhetag and who doesn't. If it works out, let me know, and I'll see about getting a rental vehicle big enough to accomodate a few of us for a road trip out into the countryside, maybe eastward or southward this time, rather than the Steigerwald. I managed to keep my BAC legal last time, and Cherie can also do the designated-driver thing. Same may be true for Belgium, especially if the Palace does its Karakterbier mini-fest in late October again. Gotta tell ya, it's been an interesting year so far. Late last year, I actually considered ZBF, but instead wound up working World Beer Cup, attending the Craft Brewers Conference, and then going to the SF Bay Area for my 50th b-day. The investment that I mentioned is both potentially good business and - wait for it - beer related, but it altered other plans significantly.
