Report on Trip to Bamberg and Merkendorf (long)

"Did they really refer to the Fastenbier as a "Starkbier"? That beer is only 5.5% ABV. Just curious." Yeah that's what she said. It is a little bit stronger than the Marzen, so I guess that's what she meant. Since Dan and I drink a lot of Belgian beers too, it definitely wasn't strong by our standards! :-) Joelle
