I have been thinking of making a trip to buttenheim whilst on my next visit to franconia.and a couple of questions have arisen.ie;how far is it from the station to the town? has anyone walked it? it looks a fair way on the map.are taxis available?and the station appears to be called buttenheim altendorf.is this right?and the final big question bearing in mind the availability of the beers of st georgen and lowenbrau in the wider area is their enough about the place to make the trip worth while? your thoughts would be welcome.ta
