| If you folks haven't seen the Frappr.com site, you should check it out, its very cool. Some people took advatage of the very complete API (application program interface) to the Google Maps site to allow an online community to have a see a map of where everybody is (an optionally upload a picture). You don't have to enter any personal information, just your Zip (or postal code, PLZ, etc.) and a "screen name" -- I don't really care if you want to make one up -- I am just curious where people are from. At the time of writing, two folks have signed up. Please check out the link at the top of this page -- and signup if you don't feel uncomfortable about it. ( I certainly don't want to force people or make anybody feel unwelcome if they don't) Thanks, Fred. |
