Hummel raucherla: bought in UK |

| As part of my preparation for my first visit to Bamberg in 5 weeks time, I visited my local specialist beer shop in the UK. I was looking for Schlenkera, the classic Bamberg smoked beer. But they had sold out. So I bought some Hummel raucherla instead. I really liked the Hummel, although a tad expensive. It was a dark smoke beer. Pretty strong at 5.6%, I think. Anyone heard of this brewery? Is it typical of the stuff to expect in Bamberg? Mike |
