| This really is an excellent book for all fans of Bamberg and Bamberg beer. The number of high quality pictures is astounding and the depth of research is highly commendable. What interested me most was the fact that so many of the brewing families are still those active in the region. The clear message throughout is how strenuous the work as a brewer was and how short the life expectancy. It is really no wonder therefore, with today's work ethic, that so few want to continue the family business. Paddy |
