| I was in Neder after Hebendanz. My understanding of the internet rationale is the same. I'm not sure what has changed legally, if anything, but of course a Ferienwohnung wouldn't be able tk survive without internet I don't think. But WiFi still remains very rare here compared to most other countries. And yes, cash is still king here. But for shopping it's normal to use cards. Things like Apple Pay and contactless payment are in now. I think they were launched around 5-10 years ago in the UK (for example). Of course in the villages you need cash. So advanced in many ways and so archaic in others. |
